Mill O'Cara

Mill O-Cara is a delightful stone-built property providing self-catering accommodation on the island of South Ronaldsay. A beautiful location offering stunning views across the sea and only a short walk from the beach, it has been sensitively converted from a former mill to provide Visit Scotland 4-Star rated facilities for 6 people.

Spanning 5 different levels, Mill O-Cara provides contemporary comforts including underfloor heating and Wifi. As you enter the front door, one side of the property features the living room, with a lounge including leather suite, wood burning stove and a traditional Orkney chair. The kitchen, on the balcony opposite, is fully-equipped.

The wooden staircase from the kitchen leads up to the snug area in the mezzanine with its panoramic skylight. The other side of the mill has a double bedroom, a twin room, hidden box bed in the attic area, a modern bathroom / shower room and a utility room. Outside, guests will find private parking and a lovely garden.
