Galson Farm Guest House

Galson Farm Guest House is a traditional 18th century farmhouse situated along the northern coast of the Isle of Lewis. Considered the oldest farmhouse on the island, with scenic views across the croftland and out to the Atlantic ocean, guests will find delicious food and a drinks license. In addition, The Crofters Retreat offers self-catering accommodation.

The guest bedrooms are individually decorated with fabrics and furnishings, showcasing some of the island’s most talented artists. There is a super king bedded room which can also be arranged as a twin, a double, and 2 twins; all with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, Wifi, USB sockets, fridge and a hospitality tray with organic tea and coffee.

After a sound night’s sleep in our comfortable beds, an Aga-cooked Galson Farm breakfast or vegetarian alternative is served in the morning, with other options also available. Evening meals can also be provided with a selection of alcoholic drinks served. The Crofter’s Retreat, for couples, is also available for hire with a king size bed and kitchen facilities.
