Gearrannan Blackhouse Village provides characterful self-catering holiday accommodation on the Atlantic coast of the Isle of Lewis, close to the Callanish Standing Stones and Carloway Broch. Open year round, these stone-built thatched cottages, bunkhouse and hostel provide an ideal location for exploring the beauty and sights of the Western Isles, with local opportunities for walking, cycling and fishing.

Each Blackhouse is named after the family that used to live there. Offering modern home comforts, whilst retaining original features, each one is unique. There is a 3-star rated cottage for 2 guests with a double bedroom, plus 2 other 4-star rated cottages for 3 or 5 guests with a double bedroom, a single and a sofa bed in the living room. One has improved accessibility for those with disabilities.

In addition, Taigh Lata is a 2-Star rated bunkhouse accommodating up to 14 people, with 2 bunk bedrooms sleeping 6 in each and one sleeping 2. The Hostel has 10 beds and a family room for 3, with walk-in guests accepted providing there is space. Gearrannan is about 25 miles to the west of Stornoway.
