Welcome to Tigh a Chaolais, a traditional Hebridean property dating from 1833, situated on the coast of the Isle of Great Bernera, which is adjacent to the Isle of Lewis in the Hebrides. Considered the oldest inhabited house on the island, it has been sensitively renovated to provide self-catering facilities accommodating 6 people.

The house is in a peaceful location right next to Bosta beach at the north end of the island. Inside, there is an open plan living area featuring an equipped kitchen and lounge space with Freesat TV and seating; with a dining table in the middle. Guests will find 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a lovely south-facing garden with a patio.

Dogs are allowed to stay at Tigh a Chaolais with prior agreement from the owners. There is off-road car parking and the front of the house has unfenced access to the shore. Some of the best kayaking, wildlife and walking opportunities are on the doorstep, as well as many other activities and attractions for all the family to enjoy.
