Leth Meadhanach

Leth Meadhanach provides welcoming bed and breakfast accommodation on a working croft on the Isle of South Uist. Surrounded by views across open moorland and lochs, and also within walking distance to a beautiful sandy beach, it is perfect for those exploring the Hebridean Islands on foot, by bicycle or car.

There are 2 bedrooms; a double and a family size room with a double and single bed. Both have en suite facilities, a TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Guests are welcome to make use of the lounge or enjoy the garden in good weather. There is on-site parking and storage for push bikes. Pets are allowed by agreement.

In the morning, guests are served a hearty breakfast and there is a local inn found just 2 miles away serving fresh seafood. The main village of Lochboisdale is 6 miles away, with facilities including a post office / coffee shop, and from where ferries sail to Mallaig and Barra. Ferries to Oban and Tiree depart from Barra.
