Upper Lodge Farm is a traditional 19th century farmhouse offering self-catering accommodation in the Berkshire hamlet of Padworth, near Reading. This former lodge of the Padworth Estate, before becoming part of a working farm in the 1930s, now provides an elegant holiday home for 4 guests and is surrounded by beautiful grounds.

The property features a cosy lounge with open fire, comfortable seating, TV and a dining table. There is a spacious kitchen with original Aga stove, modern cooker, dishwasher and coffee maker. Guests will also find 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom. The garden offers a picnic bench and water feature and wonderful views.

On-site parking is available and there are many scenic walks and cycling routes in and around the area, including in the Berkshire Downs. Padworth Common Nature Reserve is close by and there is also a local equestrian centre, fishing lakes and golf course. The old Roman ruins in the village of Silchester are a short drive away.
