Wychert Cottage

Wychert Cottage is a former bakehouse dating back to the 18th century which has been sensitively converted into a luxurious holiday home for up to 4 guests. Snuggled in the large Bucks village of Haddenham, and named after the original earth walls that are a feature of the area, the cottage provides excellent self-catering facilities.

Many original, characterful features remain inside the cottage, including cruck beams in the main double bedroom and twin room upstairs. Downstairs, the living room has a comfy sofa and highbacked swivel chairs, a TV and French doors opening to a private terrace. There is also an equipped kitchen with circular dining area.

The cottage also has a modern bathroom. Guests will find a table and chairs on the patio, ideal for relaxing al fresco, plus off-road parking. There are pubs, restaurants and cafés in the village, with the local bakery just along the road serving fresh bread and warm pastries. The Chilterns are a short drive away for scenic walking.
