The Ivy House is found within the beautiful town of Dolgellau, within Snowdonia National Park with its stunning natural beauty, at the foot of Calder Idris in the valley of the River Wnion. The house itself dates from 1829, and couples historical charm, with modern comforts and warm, Welsh hospitality.

There are 6 guest bedrooms; single, twin, double and family-sized; 4 of which have en-suite facilities. All come resourced with a TV, hospitality tray and hair dryer. We have a comfortable guest lounge and a spacious dining room where healthy or king-sized breakfasts can start your day. We cater for special diets and are able to provide packed lunches.

The pretty market town of Dolgellau (pronounced Dol-geth-lie) was once the administrative centre for the county of Merioneth. It retains a weekly livestock market and the narrow streets of the town have plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to explore. The town has over 200 listed buildings, and a Town Trail will guide you around the key features of the town.
