Talbot Inn

The Talbot Inn is an historic building situated alongside the Wharf Stream in the village of Eynsham. Steeped in history as the original wharf loading warehouse, it became a pub in the 1700s, with the original wooden beams and stone walls still visible. Visitors receive a warm welcome.

The guest bedrooms are comfortably furnished in a modern style; each with a double or twin beds, en suite facilities, a television, hairdryer and refreshment tray. In a convenient setting for overnight visitors, the inn is a short drive from the A40 to Oxford and provides car parking.

The bar and restaurant serves home cooked food and a wide choice of drinks that can be enjoyed inside, or out on the terrace and decking area. The Thames Path runs close by and there are various fishing sites along the river. Eynsham has a sports centre, shops and a skate park.
