Herons Park

Herons Park offers camping and touring pitches on the outskirts of the town of Lydd in the beautiful Romney Marsh area of Kent, within easy reach of Dungeness. Providing an attractive setting for short breaks and holidays, this is a scenic lakeside park with fishing and walking opportunities, as well as a large on-site kart track.

The camping field allows tents, motorhomes and caravans, with a choice of electric (16-amp) and non-electric pitches. Family and pet-friendly, there is a recently-opened play park and recreation field with goalposts, plus designated off-lead areas for dogs. Facilities include WCs, showers and a washing-up area with ice pack freezing.

Visitors can stock up on essentials in the shop and Wifi is available (although does not reach all pitches). Day fishing passes are available for the 8-acre lake and there is an outdoor go-karting track. Watersports activities are provided at the water park nearby.
