Parc Carafanaur Vanner Caravan & Camping Park

Vanner Caravan and Camping Park is in an ideal location for exploring countryside and coast, within Snowdonia National Park, just 1.5 miles from Dolgellau. On a working farm on the banks of the River Mawddach, in the village of Llanelltyd, the surrounding views include Cader Idris and the Mawddach Estuary, with the sea only 6 miles away.

Ideally placed for keen walkers and cyclists, the Welsh Cycle Route runs through the farm and leads directly to the internationally-renowned mountain bike centre at Coed y Brenin, which is a distance of 5 miles away. The north end of the Mawddach Trail, which runs from Dolgellau to Barmouth, is only a mile away. Fishing is also popular.

Open from 1st April / Easter to the end of October, the camping site accepts touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, with electric hook-up available. There are WCs, hot showers and razor points. Calor gas is sold on site. As well as caravan and camping, there are 16th century listed stone-built semi-detached cottages for holiday hire.
