Bryn Y Gwin Farm Camping & Caravan Site

Bryn y Gwin Farm is a small site in the foothills of Cader Idris, Snowdonia National Park, close to Dolgellau. Open from 1st of March to 31st of October, there are areas for caravans including some streamside pitches, and a separate streamside location for camping. All pitches are set within 40 acres of woodland, with wonderful mountain views.

Site facilities include WCs, showers, a chemical waste point, filtered water, hardstandings with and without electric hook-up, a firepit BBQ and natural seating areas. Dolgellau is about 15 minutes’ walk, offering weekly markets, shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. The town has 200+ listed buildings, and there is a Town Trail Map.

Popular local attractions include walking the Cader Idris trails, rowing on Llyn Tegid, cycling or walking the Mawddach Trail, fishing at Llyn Mwyngil, escaping to Cregennan Lakes, the Coed y Brenin mountain bike centre in Ganllwyd, King Arthur’s Labyrinth in Corris and the Centre for Alternative Technology near Machynlleth, Mach loop for viewing Military Aircraft, Blaenau Ffestiniog for viewing and attraction of the old mines and slate caverns.
