Tourers, trailer tents, motorhomes, campervans and tents are all welcome at Clwyd View Touring Park. On the outskirts of Rhuddlan in North Wales, this site overlooks open countryside and the River Clwyd, on 3-acres, with pitches for 75 caravans, including 66 with EHU. Owners Selwyn and Vivienne provide a warm welcome.
This is a well-maintained, secure site with a card operated barrier entrance and exit. On-site facilities include a purpose-built toilet and shower block, disabled WC and shower facilities, picnic benches around the site and a children's play area. Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated.
Rhuddlan is dominated by its mighty castle, built by Edward I. There is also an excellent 18-hole golf course and plenty of shops, places to eat and amenities, Aldi is just 50 yards away. It is situated directly south of the popular seafront town of Rhyl. The historic City of Chester is only 25 minutes away by car, or in 30 minutes, arrive in Snowdonia National Park.
