Newgale Camping Site

Newgale Campsite, owned by Mike and Clare Harris, is a relaxed and welcoming dog-friendly site in Pembrokeshire, suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes, located across the road from the 2-mile long sandy Newgale Beach, popular for surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing and more. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes the site. This campsite spreads across 9 acres, with 13 pitches benefitting from a sea view.

Electric (8-amp) and non-electric pitches are available, including some with hardstanding. The minimum stay is 1 night and a car can be parked alongside the pitch. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Newgale Campsite, but must be kept on a lead. There are several water taps dotted around the site, as well as those on the serviced electric pitches. An Elsan drain is located near facilities block and there is also a driveover drain for grey water disposal.

The facilities block has separate male and female WCs and showers, a washing-up area, laundry room, mobile phone charging station and free freezer for ice packs. Hot showers are chargeable and there is a free cold-water shower available at the rear of the building for beach users to wash sand off wet suits before entering the main shower area. Wifi is accessible. Fire pits are available to rent and logs are for sale at reception. Disposal BBQs are not allowed.

During peak season, a van provides wood fired pizzas, burgers, chips, ice cream and hot and cold drinks. There is an inn next door and another within 3 minutes’ drive. The nearest grocery stores with a good range of products are Solva Stores within 3 miles and Pelcomb Garage in 4 miles. Haverfordwest is 10 miles away and provides major supermarkets and other amenities. Please see the website for further information about the site and local area.
