Blackdown Yurts - Eco-Friendly Yurts in Devon

Winner of many accolades, including a Visit England Gold Award, Blackdown Yurts are 4 Mongolian-style yurts located in the Blackdown Hills AONB, north-east of Cullompton. Situated on a family farm in a rural location, the yurts are surrounded by open fields, home to the resident sheep and teeming with local wildlife.

Willow sleeps 4, whereas Badger, Buzzard and Woodpecker all sleep 6 people. Each is equipped with colourful bed throws, wall and floor coverings, a king size bed, 2 or 4 single beds and a wood burning stove. Outside is a picnic bench, firepit, fresh water, hut with camping kitchen, washing-up area and composting loo.

Guests are also welcome to use the barn which provides communal showers, toilets, a living area with sofas around a wood burning stove, long dining table and equipped kitchen with a cooker, microwave and a fridge allocated to each yurt. Dogs are allowed and parties can be accommodated with prior arrangement.
