Esme's Escape

Welcome to Esme’s Escape, a multi-award-winning shepherd’s hut with a hot tub, situated within a small orchard in the Somerset village of Haselbury Plucknett. Ideal as a base for exploring the Somerset Levels and within easy reach of the Dorset AONB, this luxury glamping hut is ideal for couples, with dogs also allowed by agreement.

Named after a local Land Girl who ‘joined up’ in 1943, the hut is peacefully tucked away in the village and has 1940s-style décor. Inside, guests will find a double bed, wood burner, kitchenette with sink, induction hob, coffee machine, kettle, Wifi, fold-away table and an en suite shower room with WC and electric shower.

Outside, is a partially-covered decked area with dining table, log fired pizza oven, BBQ, Chimnea, deck chairs and hot tub. The village pub is within a short walk and the local area has many attractions. Walkers enjoy proximity to the Liberty and Parrett Trails.
