To Rest a While is a beautifully-furnished shepherd’s hut situated in the village of Upper Coxley, between Wells and Glastonbury. Nestled on a working farm, with scenic views across open countryside, this is a cosy retreat for couples, solo travellers and guests who enjoy outdoors pursuits.

Inside, is a double bed, well-equipped kitchenette with cooker, kettle and sink, a small table and heater, plus a private toilet, wash basin and shower room. Outside is a garden area with table, chairs and parking. Guests enjoy a West Country cream tea on arrival.

Visitors can walk secluded lanes and take in the scenery of the Somerset Levels, or go fishing, play golf or enjoy some wildlife-watching. There are many interesting places to visit, including the Mendip Hills, Wookey Hole Caves and the coast at Burnham-on-Sea or Weston-super-Mare. Must-visits include the magnificent Wells Cathedral and Bishop's Palace, home to the Bishop of Bath and Wells, and the resident swans, for over 800 years.
