Hoddom Castle Caravan Park and Camping is a holiday park with a golf course, situated close to the River Annan in a peaceful setting on a wooded parkland country estate that was once the site of the 16th-century Hoddom Castle. This friendly and relaxed site, near Lockerbie, is only 5 minutes from the M6 and M74 motorways and is the perfect base for exploring the Borders area.
The park offers various pitches; including those with electric for motorhomes and caravans, plus a choice of electric and non-electric grass pitches for tents. Dogs are allowed across the camping site. For glampers, there are the Chill Pods and Kelo Lodges sleeping 2 - 4 guests and with electric provided. Site facilities include showers, toilets, a laundry room and washing-up area.
There is a games room, and a small shop providing essentials, accessible for disabled guests. Scenic walks are available around the site, where the remains of the former castle can be viewed. The Coach House Bar and Restaurant offers meals and live entertainment, and the 9-hole golf course is open to resident and non-resident guests. Please see the website for details.
