Mount View Caravan Park

Mount View Caravan Park provides excellent touring, camping and glamping facilities in an unspoilt rural setting, near Biggar. AA 3-Pennant and Visit Scotland 4-Star rated, the park is situated on the outskirts of Abington village, 5 minutes from the A74(M) and with walks along the River Clyde and into the surrounding valley on the doorstep.

Visitors will find hardstanding pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, each with an aerial point and electric hook-up, plus there are 2 grassed areas for tents. The 2 timber holiday pods are equipped with an en suite shower room and toilet, sofa bed, fridge, microwave and kettle. One sleeps 2 and the other up to 5 people.

Site facilities include toilets and showers, including family and disabled rooms; as well as washing-up sinks, a laundry area and gas exchange. Dogs are also allowed to stay. There is a post office and village store in Abington, and fishing opportunities along the river. Leadhills village is 6 miles away, with golf and a narrow-gauge railway.
