Rufforth Playing Fields Association is an all-year-round touring and campsite situated in this small village, very close to the historic City of York. Just 2.5 miles from the city centre, with its many tourist attractions, this site is also a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.

There is a hardstanding area for touring caravans and motorhomes, as well as a grass field for tents. Electric hook-ups are available if required, and the site has toilets, showers, a chemical disposal point and enclosed children’s play area. Rallies and groups are welcome. On-lead dogs are also allowed to stay.

The sports pavilion, with a bar, kitchen and lounge may be hired for events. There is a pub, village shop and café just a short walk away and outdoor activities including archery, quad biking and axe-throwing can be booked at the nearby Yorkshire Activity Centre. Please see the website for more details.
