Batcombe Vale Campsite is set in 120 acres of beautiful Somerset countryside, just to the north of the town of Bruton and within easy reach of Frome, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, the Mendips and Cranbourne Chase. A superb choice for a short break or holiday, this family and dog-friendly site offers fishing on the on-site lake.
Caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome, with electric hook-up available. The amenities block is equipped with free hot showers, toilets, washing-up sinks with hot water, a freezer and waste water point. There are also drinking water points and a recycling facility. Rowing boats are free to use and fishing has a daily charge.
Our reception sells ice creams and wood, with firebowl hire and tourist information also provided. There is a dairy farm close by selling cheese, and the nearest pub is 1.5 miles away in Batcombe, with others also within easy reach. Bruton has plenty of amenities and a train station with direct services to Weymouth and London.
