Lothianbridge Caravan Park

Welcome to Lothianbridge Caravan Park, nestled under the arches of a stunning viaduct, on the outskirts of Newtongrange. This park is 2 miles from Dalkeith and easily located off the A7 for routes to Edinburgh, Carlisle and beyond; ideally placed for holidaymakers visiting Midlothian and as a stopover en route to North Scotland.

Mainly catering for motorhomes and touring caravans, with some hardstanding and serviced pitches provided that include electric hook-up and drainage; tents can also be accommodated. Families, rallies and pets are welcome. Facilities include clean toilets and showers, plus a small kitchen with a toaster, kettle and microwave.

There is an inn close by, on the banks of the River South Esk, which serves a food menu. The former coal mining village of Newtongrange has a leisure centre, recreation ground with a play area and skatepark, the National Mining Museum and a railway station with direct trains to Edinburgh. Edinburgh itself is only 7 miles by road.
