By The Way Hostel and Campsite is located 7 minutes’ walk from the village of Tyndrum, within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, on the West Highland Way and close to the Loch na Bae Mountain Pass trail. Visit Scotland 4-Star rated (Hostel), the site has ‘Walkers and Cyclists Welcome’ status.

There is a great choice of glamping accommodation, including dog-friendly Trekker Huts and Camping Cabins for 2 - 5 people, each with proper beds; or the Hobbit Houses and Posh Pods for 2 - 4, with beds, a TV and basic kitchen equipment. There are shared WCs, hot showers and free Wifi across the site.

Alternatively, the fully-equipped timber chalets, sleeping 4 or 6 people, feature a double room, twin room and some also have a room containing a set of bunk beds. Guests will also find a living area with kitchen / lounge opening onto wraparound decking with outdoor dining area; plus a shower room.

The 4-star hostel, sleeping 2 to 26 guests, has a mixture of twin, double, family rooms and dormitories, with underfloor heating, a large kitchen with dining area, and drying room. Our motorhome park features 15 individual bays and the campsite accommodates 1 or 2-man tents, ideal for backpackers.
