Nestled amongst the trees in the beautiful Glen Affric National Nature Reserve, Cannich Woodland Camping is a 6-acre site offering camping, touring and glamping facilities. The local and surrounding area is popular with holidaymakers, walkers, cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts, only 12 miles west of Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness.
A peaceful and rural site where caravans, campervans and tents are all welcome, there is a touring area with serviced pitches, plus an area for tents with and without electric hook-ups. The timber camping pods provide a cosy alternative; equipped with heating and lighting and sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
The site has clean and tidy toilets, showers and baby changing facilities. There are also washing-up areas, a laundry room, free Wifi access, a children’s play area and on-site café open from March to October. Mountain bike hire can be arranged. Owner Matt is always happy to offer advice about local walks and biking trails.
