Great Glen Yurts

Great Glen Yurts provide a range of glamping accommodation on a 500-acre organic farm in the foothills of Ben Nevis, 3 miles from Fort William and close to Loch Eil and the River Lochy. Near the small village of Torlundy, in a quiet riverside spot with spectacular views of the whole of the Nevis Range and beautiful natural woodland behind, all of the yurts have views of the north face of Ben Nevis.

The yurts sleep 4 - 5 people and are equipped with a double bed, futon sofa, wood burning stove and lantern. Each yurt has a separate well-equipped open air kitchen area handcrafted from trees grown on our farm, with a barrel BBQ and open air fire pit. Each also has a private shower shack with flushing toilet and plenty of hot water. The family yurts have bunk beds and dogs are allowed too.

Alternatively, The Woodland and Fishermen’s Retreats, in the woodland, are 2-bedroomed wooden cabins each sleeping 4, with no Wifi! Each has a kitchen and bathroom. The handcrafted Shepherds Hut for 2 has a double bed and covered outside camping kitchen. Great Glen Yurts provides a fantastic base for exploring the area, with hillwalking, mountain biking, touring, kayaking and other activities.
