Highfield Farm

Highfield Farm offers a campsite, shepherd’s hut and rooms in Ottringham, near the Humber Estuary and Hull. In a great location, this working farm is also only a short drive away from sandy beaches and the scenic Spurn Point Heritage Coast. Our guests can meet the resident alpacas and purchase their wool and knitted products on-site. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.

Catering for motorhomes, caravans and tents; there are 3 camping areas. The Paddock provides a sheltered location; The Strip is an open field; and the Hardstanding area is near the amenities block. EHU is provided on some pitches and there are hot showers, toilets and washing-up sinks. Neddy’s Lookout is the shepherds’ hut for 2 guests, with a log burner, double bed, radio, Bluetooth speaker and BBQ.

The farm also offers a selection of 8 en suite bedrooms, all with a kitchenette area; situated in converted barns. There is also an external, shared kitchen with oven, hob and an eating area. Most rooms have a king sized bed, but there is also a family room with a king sized bed and 2 single beds, sleeping up to 4. Guests will find an Indian restaurant and a pub serving good food just a short walk away from the farm.
