Usha Gap Farm Camp Site

Usha Gap Farm and Camp Site offers camping facilities and a self-catering cottage near the Yorkshire Dales village of Muker. Owned and run by the Metcalfe family, this friendly and relaxed place to stay has views across Swaledale and is close to Buttertubs Pass, in an area popular for different outdoors activities and sightseeing.

The site consists of 2 fields, and an overflow field open during busy periods. The small field is nestled along a beck and the large field looks over to Kisdon Hill. People can choose where to pitch-up their tent, motorhome or caravan. Please note there are no EHUs. Dogs stay for free, but should be kept on-lead. There are WCs and showers heated by a biomass boiler, baby changing, washing-up sinks, laundry facilities, drying room, fridge and freezer, bike storage and charging lockers. Wifi is available around the site.

Usha Gap Cottage is a 2-bedroomed cottage on the west side of the farmhouse. The cottage commands spectacular views over Swaledale from the front and rear, with a charming paved patio overlooking the garden and open countryside beyond. Muker and Thwaite are about 15 minutes’ walk from the campsite. The nearest town, Hawes, is 6 miles away / a 20-minute car journey.
