Grendon Farmhouse

Grendon is a family-owned farmhouse bed and breakfast on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, easily accessed from the A30 road, just 12 miles east of the City of Exeter. A beautiful thatched house dating back to Medieval and Tudor days, with an on-site hard tennis court, the property is surrounded by open fields and moorland.

There are 2 guest bedrooms; both comfortably furnished in keeping with the endearing original beams and quirky uneven walls. There is a double bedroom on the first floor with private bathroom facilities, plus a twin room on the ground floor with en suite shower room. Each has a refreshments tray for making tea and coffee.

A Devonshire breakfast is included and evening meals can be arranged. Guests can use the lounge with its open fire in the inglenook fireplace or have a game of tennis. There are numerous surrounding walks / cycle routes and nearby National Trust properties, including Castle Drogo. Stone Lane Botanical Gardens are also close by.
