The Angel Hotel

The Angel Hotel is located on St Mary Street in the heart of the historic town of Cardigan in West Wales. Offering a selection of comfortable and affordable guest bedrooms, other facilities include a large bar with pool table and function spaces which are available for private hire; accommodating parties, anniversary celebrations, other events, business meetings and more! The town amenities and attractions are within a stone’s throw of the hotel.

Providing room-only accommodation, there are 8 double / twin en suite bedrooms with attractive décor and facilities including a TV, iron, ironing board, toiletries, hairdryer and refreshments tray for making hot drinks. Cots are available. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the bedrooms for a surcharge and are also permitted on-lead in the bar. Please note that there are 2 flights of steep stairs to reach the bedrooms, with no lift available.

Guests will find plenty of places to eat breakfast in the town. Our partnered business, The Grosvenor, is only a short walk away, providing a lunch and dinner menu. The Angel Hotel has a nightclub attached which is usually only open for private functions, but if there are any concerns about disruption, please contact the hotel prior to arrival for advice. There is limited parking available at the front of the hotel and a public car park just opposite.

On the southern border of Ceredigion, across the Teifi River from Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, Cardigan is a bustling market town with independent shops, contemporary cafés, bars, restaurants and a popular summer food festival. Local attractions include the Guildhall Market, Mwldan cinema and arts centre and Cardigan Castle. The town is within easy reach of great beaches including Poppit Sands, as well as the Wales Coast Path.
