Eastbank House

Eastbank House is a friendly and affordable hostel set within its own grounds, with plenty of car parking, in the mainland Orkney harbour town of Kirkwall, less than 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town. Owner Malcolm provides friendly hospitality. Groups are welcome.

There are 14 bedrooms including single, double, twin, triple and family rooms, including a double room on the ground floor with wheelchair access and walk-in shower. All rooms have en suite facilities, TV and Wifi. Guests can help themselves to tea and coffee in the shared kitchen.

A self-service breakfast of cereals, fruit, toast and preserves will be laid out in the kitchen and the dining room in the morning to help start the day. There is also a conservatory lounge and garden providing alternative spaces in which to relax, plus laundry facilities for wet and muddy kit.
