Kirkwall Hotel

Kirkwall Hotel is a grand Victorian building located in a prime position, along the harbourside in Kirkwall in the Orkney Isles, just a stone’s throw from the ferries to the other islands and Aberdeen. Visit Scotland 4-Star rated, this is an independent and family-run hotel with great rooms, home cooked food and a very well-stocked bar!

There are 37 rooms to choose from, all with thoughtful décor and including king / twin rooms and family suites. Some have harbour views and there are dog-friendly bedrooms available. All have luxury en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, Wifi, a TV and hospitality tray. There is a small lift to the upper floors of the hotel.

After a sound night’s sleep, guests enjoy a continental or full Scottish breakfast with local sausages, haggis, black pudding, free range eggs and fresh bread. Harbour View Restaurant is also open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The Highland Park Bar serves a range of drinks including over 100 varieties of whisky, and is dog-friendly.
