Kringla Apartments

Kringla Apartments are 3 contemporary self-catering holiday apartments in Dounby, on Mainland Orkney, in a great location to explore the island’s many attractions, including numerous archaeological and historic sites, the coastline, beaches, lochs and RSPB reserves. This accommodation is only a short drive from Kirkwall and Stromness.

The apartments have a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge / freezer and microwave; lounge with TV and seating; dining table, free Wifi, central heating and a shower room. The ground floor apartment sleeps 4 in a double and a twin bedroom; with ramped access and walk-in shower for disabled guests.

The other 2 apartments are both upstairs and each sleep 5 in a double and a twin bedroom with roll-out guest bed. A high chair, travel cot and buggy are available on request. One of the apartments is dog-friendly and the other 2 are dog-free. All guests have access to the laundry room and the ample free off-road car parking.

An easy 2-minute walk takes you to the local supermarket with petrol station, which is open all day every day. The village also has an award-winning butcher, hotel which serves delicious food, a craft shop, post office, chemist, play park and even a gym at the community school.
