Harwich 1912 Group Visitor Hostel

Harwich 1912 Group Visitor Hostel offers affordable bunkhouse-style accommodation overlooking the harbour in this Essex port town. A former fire station refurbished in 2003 as a venue to accommodate groups, the hostel is ideally placed for educational visits, youth organisations and / or social events.

Sleeping up to 26 people, there are 2 cabins downstairs and 4 cabins upstairs including 6-berth, 4-berth and 2-berth cabins, all containing bunk beds. There are communal toilets and showers with disabled access, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, common room and a drying room. There is free parking and the railway station is only a 5-minute walk away. The cinema, sailing club and lifeboat station are close by, and you can walk along the coast path to The Point and Dovercourt Beach. Day hire of the centre is also available.
