The Bailey

The Bailey in Skipton comprises a holiday cottage and shepherd’s hut next to the castle in this historic market town. Located in the centre, yet surrounded by woodland and grassy fields providing the illusion of a rural setting, it is in a convenient location for amenities and also close to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The cottage is dog-friendly and accommodates 1 or 2 guests. Accessed via an external stone staircase; there is a cosy living room with beautiful exposed wooden beams, wood burning stove in the stone fireplace, comfortable suite and dining table with chairs. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen, double bedroom and a bathroom.

The luxurious shepherd’s hut also provides a cosy escape for 1 or 2 guests, set in the secluded area of the garden. There is a double bedroom, living area with wood burning stove, kitchenette and seating area which opens outside, plus a shower room. EV charging, breakfast hampers, guided walks and tours can be arranged.
