Hoolit Cottage

Hoolit Cottage is a beautiful stone-built holiday cottage located in Upper Glendale, in the small hamlet of Shotton, on the northern edge of the spectacular Northumberland National Park, 3 miles from Mindrum, on the England and Scotland border. The cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms, with room for a cot. Hoolit is the recipient of a Green Tourism Silver Award.

The living room provides a haven in which to relax, with leather suite, wood burning stove, TV and French doors to the patio. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a washing machine and dining table. The main bedroom has a double bed, seating area and views across the gardens from the 3 windows. The second bedroom has twin beds. There is a bathroom and separate shower room. Outside, is a seating area, BBQ and 2 acres of wildlife gardens with a pond, native hedges, meadow and stream. Bird box and trail cameras are provided for wildlife-watching.
