Ashes Farm Cottages

Ashes Farm Cottage is a 17th century former dairy farm outbuilding, sensitively converted into a holiday home for 4 guests. Situated at the foot of Castle Hill, in a scenic rural setting, this accommodation is only 2 miles from the centre of Huddersfield, providing the perfect place for a family holiday and enjoying outdoors pursuits.

Cruck Cottage is named after the original cruck and roof beams, still visible. The open plan living room has a sofa, chairs, TV, DVD player, beech dining table and equipped kitchen. A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are available. Upstairs, is a family bedroom with a double and a single bed, plus a single bedroom. There is also a bathroom, free Wifi access and central heating.

Guests will find many footpaths and cycling trails around the area, and an alpaca farm nearby offering experiences and trekking. Longley village has a convenience store and Indian takeaway. Huddersfield has interesting architecture, museums, galleries, parks and gardens. The town centre also has lots of shops, pubs and eateries, plus is only a few minutes’ walk from the main rail and coach stations.
