Lakemoor Campsite

Lakemoor Campsite offers unique glamping accommodation alongside the Taw River, near the Devon market town of Chulmleigh. This welcoming, 5-acre family-owned site with a lake and small honesty shop is surrounded by tranquil countryside. Set within a farm smallholding, guests can meet the resident goats, pigs and chickens.

There are different glamping options, all overlooking the lake. Sleeping 2 guests, The Cabin is a dog-friendly hut with a double bed, wood burning stove and jetty on the lake. The Ark is a timber pod, also for 2 people, with a double bed that converts into a dining table by day, and outside lakeside decking area with table and chairs.

The Pyrapod sleeps 2 to 3 in a double bed and a folding bed, and has a wood burning stove, picnic bench on the decking area and its own separate composting toilet. The Lotus is a round tent for 3 guests with a double and single futon on the raised decking. All have a camping kitchen and access to showers, toilets and dishwashing.
