Lakeside Caravan Park and Fisheries at Denver is an AA 4-Pennant rated site located on the outskirts of the old market town of Downham Market. On the edge of the fens and water meadows of the River Great Ouse, this is an excellent choice for a short break or holiday, with opportunities for fishing and many other outdoors activities.
The park is family-friendly, with well-behaved dogs allowed. There are over 100 pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans, including some sited by the lake. Awnings are permitted for an extra charge. Rallies of up to 100 caravans are welcome. The amenities block has toilets, coin-operated showers, a laundrette and washing-up sinks.
Facilities include a children’s play area and shop selling everyday groceries, camping essentials and fishing bait. There is also an electric car charger point. Visitors will find 5 fishing lakes and a private stretch along the river exclusively for Lakeside guests. The local village of Denver has a post office, pubs, golf clubs, sluice and windmill.
