Bircham Windmill

Bircham Windmill is an historic working windmill used for milling corn, situated in the village of Great Bircham, between King’s Lynn and Fakenham. Featuring an on-site bakery, tea rooms and a gift shop, guests can also stay on this beautiful site in the North Norfolk countryside, either on the campsite or in the shepherd’s hut.

The campsite is open from Easter to the end of September and accepts tents, motorhomes and touring caravans, with optional electric hook-up available. Ryeland is a shepherd’s hut for 2 with a fold-down double bed, kitchenette and outdoor cooking area. Child and dog-friendly, all are welcome on the campsite or in the hut.

Facilities include toilets, showers, washing-up sinks, a games room with TV and pool table, and lovely garden area. The windmill is open to all visitors, where people can explore the 5 floors, watch fresh bread being baked in the original bakery, enjoy tasty lunches and homemade cakes in the tea rooms or visit the gift shop.
