Baconsthorpe Meadows

Baconsthorpe Meadows is a traditional camping and glamping site situated in a beautiful rural Norfolk location, 3 miles from the market town of Holt. This family-run, friendly site offers 7 acres of grounds on a working farm close to the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle; providing a perfect base for holidays and a range of outdoors pursuits.

Catering for tents only, with special rates for backpackers or those arriving on bicycles or motorbikes, electric hook-up is available. Children under 3 stay for free and dogs are also allowed. There are also 6 camping pods (inc. 1 dog-friendly) sleeping 2 with double / twin beds, heating, fridge, kettle, toaster and outside picnic bench.

Guests will find well-presented, clean toilets and showers with baby changing facilities. There are also washing-up sinks, laundry facilities, freezers, a children’s playground, dog-friendly field and a small shop / reception area. Campfires are allowed and fire pits can be hired. Holt has shops, places to eat and drink, and a country park.
