Salhouse Broad provides a beautiful place to camp on the banks of the River Bure, in the Norfolk Broads. A no-frills site surrounded by reed beds, woodland and lakes, yet just 7 miles from the centre of Norwich and within easy reach of so many attractions, this is the perfect retreat for nature lovers, boating enthusiasts, walkers and more.
Accommodating tents only, on standard or larger pitches, guests experience enjoyable back-to-basics camping, in a quiet, scenic and relaxing setting away from life stresses. There are chemical toilets and a drinking water tap provided. Up to 2 dogs are allowed per pitch. There are 5 moorings available on the broad for those arriving by boat.
The Hungry Otter sells refreshments including fresh coffee, home bakes, ice cream and even treats for canine visitors. Pop up food vendors visit through the season.
