The Salty Shepherd

The Salty Shepherd offers a shepherd’s hut and 2 former farmworker’s cottages for holiday accommodation, in a great location, only minutes’ walk from the beach in Camber Sands! Surrounded by open fields and countryside, yet only 4 miles from the medieval town of Rye, this is a wonderful setting for a holiday in East Sussex.

Guests staying in The Hut enjoy a secluded location and wake up to the panoramic views across Romney Marsh. Ideal for couples, this accommodation provides a double bed, cosy wood burning stove, kitchenette with sink and a gas hob, comfortable seating, foldaway table and en suite shower room including an eco loo.

The 2 farm cottages both sleep up to 6 guests and feature a downstairs open plan living area with fully-equipped kitchen / diner, a sitting room with TV and wood burner, and a playroom / snug. Upstairs, there are 2 king size rooms, a twin room and bathroom. Both have a private garden area with barbeque, table and chairs.
