Freshwinds

Freshwinds is both a camping and glamping site, situated on a family-run farm on the edge of the High Weald, between Hastings and Rye. Less than 3 miles from the nearest beach at Pett Level, it is the perfect place for family holidays; with a fairy trail, wildlife trail and animals to see. Yoga classes and retreats can also be arranged.

The campsite is divided into 3 areas. Mill Garden has 14 pitches surrounded by mature woods and a small stream. Stream Field is mainly for adults and has 4 pitches. Composting toilets and showers are provided in both areas, with a camping kitchen available in Mill Garden. Woodland Glade has 2 pitches in a secluded area of woodland.

For glampers, there are 4 yurts and a shepherd’s hut. Each yurt is decorated in its own style, sleeping 4 or 6 people, and equipped with a composting toilet and shower, camping stove and solar panel. The Shepherd’s Hut, for 2 guests, has a wood burning stove, kitchenette and private shower room. All have an outside decking area.
