Wolstonbury Dreaming at Chanty Farm is an eco-campsite on the sacred Wolstonbury Hill in the South Downs National Park. Situated on the outskirts of Pyecombe, in an area ever-popular with walkers, cyclists and families, our guests can enjoy off-grid camping and glamping in the shepherd’s huts and reconnect with nature.
Campers can pitch their own tent in the 8 acres of camping meadow with a fire pit on each; and glampers can choose from Orchard Hut sleeping 2 or 3 people, or Paddock Hut sleeping 2 to 5 guests. Both huts have lighting and electricity derived from the solar panels, plus gas rings, an outside fire pit and a complimentary walking map.
There are composting toilets, hot water for washing and fresh water from the hill. Guests can enjoy private access to the Bronze Age monuments on the farm and watch the film about that era. There is limited on-site car parking, although the site is also close to the South Downs Way and there are local buses to Brighton.
