Swallow Barn

Swallow Barn is an enchanting stone-built barn conversion in a quiet and secluded 5-acre setting, near the village of Lewdown, on the Devon and Cornwall border. In a superb location for a self-catering holiday break, the nearest towns are Tavistock, Okehampton and Launceston, and the barn is within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park and the Tamar Valley AONB.

An idyllic setting for couples, sleeping 2, the accommodation includes a bedroom with super king bed and TV under a beautiful vaulted ceiling. A cot is available for an infant. Dogs are allowed with prior agreement. Guests will also find a cosy sitting room with beamed ceiling, wood burning stove, sofa, TV, dining table and French doors leading to the courtyard.

There is also a country-style kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a full bathroom. Wifi is available throughout the cottage. Outside, is a courtyard and garden area. There is also a car parking space. The village has a post office and a welcoming inn providing good food. There is also a fairground museum and equestrian centre nearby.
