Ty Mawr Collection

Ty Mawr Collection are 5 luxurious holiday cottages set within the grounds of a Grade II listed Georgian mansion on the outskirts of the village of Llanfrynach, within the Brecon Beacons. Each cottage has been carefully renovated from the former estate buildings, retaining many charming features, whilst providing Visit Wales 5-Star accommodation. The names of the cottages reflect their former use and each has its own distinct interior design.

The Bothy was once the gardener’s home and has been turned into a delightful cottage for 4 guests, with vaulted beamed ceilings, a super king bedroom and twin-bedded room. The Cottage, The Coach, The Dairy and The Laundry are all 1-bedroomed cottages for 2 guests. All have a living area with TV and log burner, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table and bathroom. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome (except in The Coach).

Maps and local area guides are provided in the cottages. Outside, there is a private patio and garden with outdoors furniture, plus off-road parking (EV charging available on-site). The Treatment Studio can be booked for beauty and relaxation therapies. There is also a 12-acre park for dogs. The accommodation is just 5 minutes off the A40 road and within easy driving distance of the market towns of Brecon, Hay-on-Wye and Crickhowell.
