Lyons Snowdon View Holiday Park

Snowdon View Holiday Park is a superbly-located camping park, found near the village of Llanberis, at the foot of Snowdon, in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The park hosts views of Wales’s highest mountain and is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing break in beautiful countryside, or get out and about and enjoy the wide range of outdoors activities and attractions in the local and surrounding area. As well as touring pitches, this spacious and well-maintained holiday park now has a charming self-catering courtyard cottage available to let.

There is a range of touring pitches, all offering a restful holiday in a peaceful and picturesque location. There are grass or hardstanding pitches, with dogs allowed. A launderette is provided. There is also a cosy stone-built pet-friendly cottage called Bwythyn Yr Wyddfa, sleeping up to 2 people, with full access to the park. Snowdon View offers a great range of facilities in the park for both kids and adults, including an indoor heated pool, adventure play park, sauna / steam room and a bar / restaurant called The Little Tavern which also provides live entertainment.

Close by, Llyn Padarn is a large glacial lake where you can fish and go boating. Eryri is magnificent for hiking, biking, climbing and other outdoors activities. A train to the summit of Snowdon is available if preferred, taking 2.5 hours for a return journey. Other attractions nearby include Zip World for adrenaline-filled fun, or Greenwood Family Park, full of eco-friendly fun rides. The National Slate Museum in Llanberis features the largest waterwheel on mainland Britain, or perhaps visit Caernarfon Castle, built by King Edward I over 700 years ago.
