Portnellan Estate - Ptarmigan

The Ptarmigan is a beautifully equipped, bespoke designed lodge offering warm and cosy accommodation for up to 4 people and has one of the best sensational views on the Portnellan Estate. Positioned high on the hillside overlooking Glen Dochart, Loch Iubhair (pronounced Ewar) and the surrounding mountains to the West, North and East with the mountains of Ben More and Stob Binnein towering above the lodge to the South.

The open plan kitchen, living and dining area is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, dining table with chairs. The kitchen offers an integrated fridge with freezer compartment, built in washing machine, built in dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, a microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. Full crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are all provided. There is a sliding patio door that leads to a private balcony with garden furniture where you can sit in peace and tranquility whilst savouring the truly magical Highland view whilst admiring the birds and red squirrels playing tirelessly on the feeders.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has 2 full size single beds. Full Egyptian Cotton bed linen is supplied Hypoallergenic duvets. A bathroom with sumptuous deep bath and shower over, Scottish Soap Co toiletries and towels. Special features include a flat screen SMART TV with SKY channels and a Blu-ray DVD player.

There is free Starlink WiFi, free use of rowing boats, kayaks as well as paddle board hire is all available. A wee on site visitor shop offers local produce for sale, maps and information on the local area. There is a BBQ hutte available to hire which is fantastic for a real flame BBQ experience with friends and/or family. There is a games room on site with table tennis, pool table, table football and a wee gym.
