Bracken Cottage

Situated on the Colvend coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Bracken Cottage is a beautiful retreat to the South of Scotland in the town of Dalbeattie.

Bracken Cottage was converted from a former barn back in 2005, to self-catering accommodation for up to five guests. Whilst retaining charm and character, the cottage has been converted to a high standard and lovingly decorated with bright and airy rooms that complement that splendid views of the surrounding countryside. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen diner that leads out onto a south facing patio, a double bedroom with shower room and wc. On the first floor there is a large lounge with panoramic views where an additional settee bed can be provided, and a large double bedroom with bathroom.

Bracken Cottage is a great base from which to explore the South of Scotland, the historic town of Dumfries, interesting gardens and historical sites are all within easy reach.
