Glencairn Villa

Glencairn Villa is a welcoming bed and breakfast centrally located in the market town of Dumfries. We boast free private parking and easy access to all of the attractions and amenities of the town. We are just four minutes from Dumfries Train Station and less than five minutes walk from the DG1 Leisure Centre and the high street.

Glencairn has double, twin and family en-suite guest rooms available. All are immaculate in presentation and have Freeview television, complimentary Wifi and facilities for making hot drinks. We serve a traditional Scottish breakfast using only free-range eggs and meat from the excellent local butcher. Vegetarian options are available.

Dumfries occupies a position in south-west Scotland, 25 miles from the border with England. It has many associations with Robert Burns who lived here in the 1790s. The Robert Burns Centre situated in an 18th century watermill on the west bank of the River Nith, is well worth a visit. The two homes Burns lived in survive, and are open to the public.
